On June 8 of this year, the 6th Congress of the Society of Cardiologists of Georgia was held in the conference halls of the Expo Georgia exhibition complex.

More than 400 cardiologists, therapists, family doctors participated in the work of the Congress.

The congress program should include 6 thematic sessions and 28 reports on current issues of modern cardiology. 3 sessions were devoted to the discussion of the main recommendations of the latest guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology: "Revascularization of the myocardium", "Management of arterial hypertension", "Cardiovascular diseases in pregnant women". The participants of the congress were distributed the pocket versions of the above-mentioned guidelines in the Georgian language.

At the end of the congress, the participants were given a certificate of our society and were given 10 credit points of continuing medical education.
