One of the most important tasks of the Society of Cardiologists of Georgia is to promote the process of improving the quality of medical practice in the country. For this purpose, the society is practically implementing the initiative "to implement the guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology in the clinical practice of Georgia".
For the practical implementation of the mentioned initiative, the society is organizing: (a) the translation of ECS pocket guidelines, and (b) the organization of conferences for practicing doctors, where in detail The main recommendations of the new guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology and their practical application are discussed.
The guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology are the intellectual property of this society. Accordingly, the printing of these guidelines (full and pocket versions) in English language, translation and printing in Georgian language is allowed only with the special permission of the European Society of Cardiology. According to the existing regulations, the European Society of Cardiology gives its permission for translation and printing of guidelines in individual countries only to national cardiology societies that are members of its ranks. see Link
